Privacy Policy

Last updated Oct 6, 2026

This policy explains what information Mockova (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit mockova.com, how it’s used, and the choices you have. Mockova is operated from Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada, and handles personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). If you have questions, email [email protected].

Information we collect

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are popular. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t track you across other websites, and doesn’t collect personal information such as your name or email. It records aggregated data like page views, referring sites, country and browser type.

Email

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply to you and keep correspondence for up to 24 months. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Preferences stored on your device

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.

Advertising and cookies

Mockova may display ads provided by Google AdSense. When ads are shown:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
  • To learn more, read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
  • See our Cookie Policy for the full list of cookies and how to control them.

Where personalized ads are not allowed or you decline them, Google may still show non-personalized ads, which use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from Google’s certified consent management platform asks for your choice before advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time using the “Privacy and cookie settings” link that appears on the site once the message is active.

Our articles and roundups link to creators’ websites, marketplaces and software makers. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we’re not responsible for how they handle your data.

Where your information is stored

Mockova’s service providers, including Cloudflare and Google, may store and process information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Information stored in another country is subject to the laws of that country.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as objecting to certain uses or complaining to a data protection authority. To make a request, email [email protected]. We’ll reply within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

Mockova is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page when our practices change, for example when advertising is turned on. The date at the top shows the latest version.
